About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking dedicated Allied Health Assistants to join our Northern Adelaide Geriatric Service team. These positions are rotating cover positions with opportunities across acute, subacute and community geriatric services.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care to our geriatric patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient transfers, mobility exercises and providing support during therapy sessions. You will also contribute to creating a safe and comfortable environment for our patients, ensuring their dignity and well-being are always prioritised. In a rotating cover position, you will have the opportunity to work across Acute Care of the Elderly Unit (LMH), Inpatient Geriatrics (Modbury Hospital and Northern Reablement and Intermediate Care to Return Home, ACH Healthia) and Geriatrics in the Home (GITH).

To be eligible for this position, you must hold or be undertaking a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
