We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Podiatry to lead the operational and professional management of podiatry services within the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). About the Role:

As the Senior Manager Podiatry, you’ll be accountable to the Director of Allied Health for overseeing the operational and professional management of the Podiatry services within RMCLHN. In this role, you will be recognized as a clinical expert in Podiatry, responsible for strategic planning and developing evidence-based competencies across the podiatry team. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure service development is underpinned by the best available evidence, while also driving quality improvement initiatives and providing clinical support and professional training across diverse care settings.

This leadership role will see you engage in workforce development initiatives and promote access to high-quality care for rural communities, emphasizing dignity, respect, independence, and social connection. You will also provide expert consultancy to the RMCLHN Executive, service providers, and consumers with complex needs. The Senior Manager, Podiatry will be responsible for clinical supervision of Podiatry staff and other members of the Allied Health and Restorative Care Team, ensuring alignment with national and state health reforms.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association. 
  • Support RMCLHN’s strategic goals.
  • Lead and manage podiatry staff and contribute to planning with the Director of Allied Health.
  • Apply new knowledge and technology across disciplines.
  • Make independent decisions and oversee major programs and staff practices.
  • Engage in allied health workforce education networks.
