About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering acute and sub-acute health responses, supporting hospital avoidance, and ensuring patients with complex health needs receive integrated, person-centred care. You will consolidate your expertise through continuous professional development, while also providing guidance to less experienced staff and contributing to best-practice clinical standards.

This position involves working collaboratively with Government and Non-Government organisations to coordinate care for vulnerable individuals with complex needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a proactive and holistic approach to healthcare. The role requires flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, with potential rotations across different services and sites within CALHN Integrated Care. About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Clinical Nurse to join our team and provide expert care in acute, sub-acute, and community settings. You will bring strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical assessment skills, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments while supporting both patients and colleagues.

  • Strong clinical & leadership skills – A Registered Nurse with at least three years of post-registration experience, with the ability to mentor and support student and less experienced nurses.
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving abilities – Proficient in written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and IT literacy, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Time management & adaptability – Ability to prioritise workload, work under minimal supervision, and adapt to changing demands while maintaining accurate records and patient assessments.
  • Commitment to quality & patient care – Sound knowledge of legislation, nursing standards, and quality improvement systems, ensuring best-practice care and discharge planning for complex patient groups.
