Overview:

  • The Executive Support Officer is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the provision of confidential, high-quality support, secretarial executive administrative services, and project work to ensure the efficient operation of the Office of the Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner. This includes providing a range of administrative support to the complaints team, management team and general office, including complaints resolution, finance and human resources. 
  • The incumbent provides an essential diary management service for the Commissioner, is required to liaise extensively with high level stakeholders, identify and address a range of issues, including queries and requests, and develop, implement and monitor systems to enhance the administrative services within the Office.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • Some work outside of normal office hours will be required including actively participating in HCSCC promotional activities. 
  • Some intra and interstate travel necessitating in overnight absences will be required.
