About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join the CALHN Integrated Care Refugee Health Service (RHS). In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based psychological services to refugee health consumers, playing a key part in ensuring the effective management and care of patients. You will conduct complex diagnostic assessments, develop case formulations, and create tailored psychological interventions to support the diverse needs of refugees. Your work will directly contribute to improving the mental health and well-being of individuals facing the challenges of resettlement and trauma.

As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals, providing consultancy and sharing your expertise to enhance service delivery. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating specialised interventions, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients. About You

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals in the refugee community. You will have the necessary qualifications and a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health and trauma.

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with PsyBA general registration and Clinical Psychology endorsement.

  • Extensive experience in conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and developing treatment plans for complex cases.

  • Proven ability to work independently, provide psychological consultancy, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Knowledgeable in current psychological theories, mental health legislation, and the application of evidence-based interventions.
