About the Role

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for supporting essential services in health and community care? As the Team Leader, Support Services, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our catering, cleaning, grounds, waste, linen and allied care teams. Working closely with the Food Services Contract Manager and Support Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of dedicated staff, helping deliver high-quality services that directly support the wellbeing of our consumers.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a dynamic leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll be at the forefront of team coordination—setting priorities, allocating tasks, and overseeing routines to ensure all support services are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard. About You

You’re a confident and capable leader who thrives in dynamic environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality support services. With strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset, you’re ready to lead by example and make a positive impact.

  • Proven ability to supervise teams, foster a positive workplace culture, and deliver staff training and development initiatives.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with experience planning and coordinating multiple priorities under pressure.

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including Food Safety Standards, the SA Food Act, and SA Healthcare Cleaning Standards 2021.

  • Strong administrative skills and experience using data systems, with a clear understanding of quality, safety, and HR principles.
