As a Contract Manager with PSCF, you will oversee and manage all aspects of contract activities, including maintaining records and ensuring clear communication with both suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement processes that ensure the effective fulfillment of contractual obligations, and monitor supplier performance, ensuring they meet their obligations and responsibilities under a wide range of contracts.

You will undertake a variety of activities including but not limited to:

  • Preparing contract management advice and reports that identify emerging legal and contractual risks and issues and associated resolution, mitigation, or abatement options.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of processes that support the effective identification, mitigation, and management of risks.
  • Contributing to contract management strategies that facilitate meeting the State’s obligations and responsibilities under a range of services contracts.
  • Contribute to the management of contractor/supplier performance including the resolution of issues.
  • Providing support and guidance to stakeholders, in development and implementation of contract management plans, managing contract reviews, and managing performance reviews, including re-negotiating contract terms.

As the successful Contract Manager, you will champion the values of integrity and credibility and approach the role with a collaborative and consultative mindset. You will provide strategic advice which considers organisational factors and stakeholder needs. You will possess the following:

  • Significant experience in providing high level administrative and project support including managing sensitive, complex, and urgent material within strict timeframes and in accordance with required outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing strong working relationships and communication processes with stakeholders, contractors, and project resources.
  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary contract management principles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to plan, manage and coordinate administrative requirements associated with complex projects including the development and monitoring of contract documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-level communications including processing, co-ordinating and tracking, complex and urgent material within strict time frames.
