SA Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager Job Share for a part-time, short-term contract position within the Cummins MPS unit of the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is responsible for the planning and delivery of hospital and health services over 337,626 square kilometres, taking in the Eyre Peninsula, western part of South Australia and north to Coober Pedy.  We are one of the largest LHNs by area in Australia and communities include Ceduna, Cleve, Coober Pedy, Cowell, Cummins, Elliston, Kimba, Oodnadatta, Port Lincoln, Streaky Bay, Tumby Bay and Wudinna.

Services include acute care, medical, accident and emergency, surgery, birthing and midwifery, specialist consultancy, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, transfusions, rehabilitation, residential and community aged care, respite care, transitional care packages, Aboriginal health, mental health, allied health, community health, community nursing, palliative care, community home support packages and home modifications.

Cummins and District Memorial Hospital is run by the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. The hospital has 11 inpatient beds as well as aged care beds, and provides a range of services including emergency, general medicine, surgical care, day surgery, palliative care and outpatients.

Community Health and Allied Health services are also based on the hospital site and provide services to the community. The Miroma Place Hostel is separate to the hospital and provides a homelike setting for people with low levels of care needs.

This is a part time vacancy, working 48 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. This appointment will be part of a job share arrangement.
