About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our dedicated Tuberculosis Outreach Service team within the Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health Service.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic team of healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional care and support to patients diagnosed with Tuberculosis. Your expertise and compassionate approach will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of outreach services, empowering patients to overcome their health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • oversee the day-to-day operations of the Tuberculosis Outreach Service, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
  • mentor and guide nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centred care plans
  • ensure adherence to best practices, policies and procedures within the Tuberculosis Outreach Service
  • promote continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
  • advocate for patient rights and promote health education and disease prevention strategies

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
