About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate and specialised care for women and pregnant people undergoing first and second trimester terminations. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-termination consultations for both medication and surgical options, as well as offering aftercare services to ensure the best outcomes for clients. You will play a critical role in providing direct nursing care, particularly for clients undergoing second trimester terminations, both pre- and post-operatively.

About You

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Registration with the Nursing Board of Australia or eligibility to register, with a current practising certificate.
• Proven ability to provide comprehensive care, support clients from diverse backgrounds, and assess staff competence while promoting team learning.
• Experience in person-centred care for women and pregnant people, with a strong background in perioperative and clinical settings.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, nursing standards, quality improvement, and aseptic techniques to ensure the highest level of care.
