    • $1,155.00 - $1,166.60 per week (pro rata) | WHA5
    • $1,128.60 - $1,140.30 per week (pro rata) | WHA4
  • In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

About the Role:

As a Theatre Orderly, you will be a crucial part of our healthcare team, providing high standards of service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your role will involve assisting medical and nursing staff across a wide range of duties, both inside and outside the Operating Theatre. From transporting and positioning patients to setting up, collecting, and delivering theatre equipment, you'll ensure that surgeries and procedures run smoothly. You'll also take on key cleaning and ancillary responsibilities, contributing to the overall efficiency of the theatre.

About You:

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position OR Experience relevant to undertake the duties required and will be required to perform a range of higher-level operative tasks above and beyond the skill and knowledge of an employee at Level 3
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
  • Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.

  • This is a part time vacancy, working 40 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
