We're looking for a strategic and culturally grounded Workforce Development Coordinator to champion Aboriginal workforce growth across the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. In this influential role, you'll lead regional planning aligned with state-wide initiatives such as the SA Rural Aboriginal Health Workforce Plan and the SA Health Aboriginal Health Care Framework. Your voice will matter—contributing to high-impact projects, resolving complex workforce challenges, and forging powerful partnerships across government, training providers and Aboriginal communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, consult on, and implement Aboriginal workforce strategies and plans
  • Lead regional workforce initiatives in alignment with state priorities
  • Build strong partnerships across sectors to drive collaborative outcomes
  • Provide expert analysis to resolve local and systemic workforce issues
  • Represent YNLHN in regional and state-wide workforce development forums

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in project/workforce planning, stakeholder engagement and strategic problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write clearly and influence effectively
  • Proven ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal organisations and communities
  • Knowledge of public health systems and data analysis methods
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously when needed
