  • Classification - RN/M2A - Associate Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager LV2 - $ 100,353 to $110,497 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits
  • Part Time (0.84 FTE) - rostered as early and late shifts, incl weekends, however a set roster is negotiable
  • Ongoing Contract 

About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child & Family Health Service Parent Helpline as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, where you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, 
  • Assisting the Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent in the implementation of practice changes; and
  • Assisting the Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent in undertaking service management responsibilities, e.g., Performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation, and attendance management; financial and supplies planning and monitoring.

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:

  • Effective communicator, problem solver, conflict resolver and negotiator.
  • Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Able to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
  • Able to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the healthcare setting
