Overview:

The Principal HR Business Partner is responsible for establishing productive partnerships with business unit leaders and undertaking the delivery of customised HR solutions and consultancy to maximise organisational capability and to enable the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) to operate at an optimum level to meet commitments in relation to identified strategies, frameworks and governance. 

Objectives will be achieved through collaborative working relationships to ensure consistency of advice and continuity of service on all matters.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in the provision of customer focussed workforce services that foster collaboration and continual improvement.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, facilitation, influencing, negotiation, networking and relationship management skills.
  • Ensure best practice and current risk mitigation and management consultancy is delivered, innovative recommendations and solutions for HR/ workforce process issues are developed, and all activities support delivery of HR consulting in a customer centric environment.

Appointment to classification will be based upon skills / experience.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
