SA Health is seeking a dedicated AHP1 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Virtual Rehab Ward team at Flinders Medical Centre, located in the vibrant Adelaide Metro Southern region.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Manager - Virtual Rehabilitation Ward, as a Physiotherapist in this full-time, ongoing role, you'll have the chance to harness the power of cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Utilizing state-of-the-art virtual rehabilitation tools, you'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, empowering patients to achieve optimal recovery and quality of life.

About you:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Ability to undertake assessment and intervention with clients with a range of illnesses and disabilities relevant to older people and rehabilitation.
  • Ability to provide clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and a range of professional and other staff, orally and in writing, including in the provision of supervision to Allied Health Assistants and volunteers as required.
  • Must have current South Australian driver’s license and willingness to drive a government plated vehicle for community visits.
