Overview

You will ensure the provision of an efficient, effective and safe catering and cleaning service for patients, residents and staff across both Kapunda and Eudunda & Residential Care Facilities. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations including human resource management, operational planning, financial management, purchasing and ensuring that an effective continuous quality and safety improvement cycle is maintained. You may also be required to perform operational duties at short notice if required. Ensuring the rostering of staff meets department needs, you will communicate effectively with all staff in order to develop a team which is positive, motivated and reliable. With proven experience in the provision of a Catering and Cleaning service, you will have a proven track record in establishing and maintaining effective systems, procedures and technologies. You will work well within a team environment and be confident in providing advice to employees on appropriate procedures and safe work practices. With a flexible approach to work and rostering systems, you will have proven ability to meet deadlines and timeframes. You must be willing to provide assistance and cooperation to other staff, utilising your excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances.
