At Sheoak Lodge, we’re looking for a compassionate Leisure & Lifestyle Co-ordinator to join our team and make a real difference. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate group and individual activities tailored to the residents' needs, abilities, and preferences.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the safe and successful execution of activity programs.

  • Document residents’ participation and feedback to refine activities and improve care.

  • Support and supervise volunteers, leisure staff, and students, fostering a team-focused environment.

  • Regularly review and adapt activities to ensure they remain engaging and relevant to residents’ evolving needs.

  • Provide direction and training to volunteers, ensuring their skills align with program needs.

  • Ensure high standards of care, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • AQF Certificate III in a relevant field and at least 560 hours of in-service experience.

  • Proven ability to engage and support older adults in a residential care setting.

  • Experience in coordinating leisure and lifestyle activities or volunteer services.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and computer skills.

  • Understanding of the Aged Care Act, National Aged Care Standards, and recent industry updates.
