WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
This is a unique opportunity to join our Emergency Services Team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Network! In the role of Emergency Consultant, you will be part of the Emergency Leadership Team, working with dedicated health care staff in the pursuit of providing exceptional services within our community. In this role you will play a critical role in ensuring that all accreditation standards are met to allow the Gawler Hospital to provide advanced and general basic training to both Emergency and GP trainees. In addition, you will provide mentoring, teaching and clinical development of other Medical Officers and also support the development of the multi-disciplinary team across the emergency service. Your role will be pivotal in the ongoing design and development of best practice standards in emergency care, and whilst doing so you will ensure that the department continues to strive for excellence in care, first time, very time.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

- You will need to undergo employment screening, what you require is also on the front page of the Role Description.
- You must hold appropriate specialist qualifications and be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration in Emergency Medicine or General Practice.
Indicative Total Remuneration includes award salary, leave loading, professional development, A&R Allowance, Superannuation, Private Practice arrangements (if applicable)
