We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Audiology Clinical Lead to join our Audiology Team. 

About the role:

Reporting to the Audiology Manager, your role will develop a safe and culturally responsive preventative and proactive hearing and ear health program, by engaging with community and ley stakeholders, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in SALHN. .

Duties for this role include: 

  • Working collaboratively with Aboriginal Family GP Clinic to establish and provide a culturally sensitive ear health service to the aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people residing within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network,
  • Maintaining an accurate record of data and statistics,
  • Implement a standardised approach to assessment, hearing and ear health education, risk stratification and escalation across SA Health Aboriginal Health Services in the south,
  • Developing, monitoring and reporting on a model of care and project outcomes by actively leading change management processes in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of an Aboriginal Wellbeing model for ears.

About you:

  • Appropriate degree and or equivalent qualification in Audiology which gives eligibility for full Association membership with Audiology Australia,
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice regarding clinical service delivery and improvement opportunities,
  • Ability to be innovative and enterprising in relation to problem solving and planning,
  • Demonstrated competence in a broad range of specific discipline comprehensive screening, assessment and education.
