About the Role

As an IBD Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering specialised nursing care to patients within the inflammatory bowel disease service at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital/Royal Adelaide Hospital. Working alongside a dynamic team of medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, you'll provide patient-centred care that drives improved health outcomes for individuals managing IBD. Your role will involve case management, coordination of biologic medications, and ensuring the smooth running of the IBD patient helpline.

In this position, you’ll take on clinical responsibilities while also developing your career through portfolio management. You will have the opportunity to guide and mentor less experienced staff while continuing to develop your own skills and knowledge. Your work will contribute to the safety and quality improvement projects aimed at meeting key performance indicators for the service. About You

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse who is passionate about patient care and professional development.

  • Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate or eligible for registration with the Nursing Board of Australia.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities independently.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and in-depth knowledge of nursing standards, quality improvement, and healthcare issues.
