Join Our Team as a Disaster Resilience and Corporate Risk Coordinator: Lead Critical Emergency Response and Risk Management Initiatives

Are you a strategic and proactive leader with a passion for disaster resilience and risk management? We are seeking an experienced Disaster Resilience and Corporate Risk Coordinator (DRCRC) to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing disaster resilience across the RMCLHN, ensuring safety and continuity for our communities.

About the Role:

As the Disaster Resilience and Corporate Risk Coordinator, you will lead the design, conduct, and management of disaster resilience strategies, focusing on emergency response, major incident management, and business continuity planning. You will ensure effective fire safety services and provide staff training across the LHN, promoting a strong Planning, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery (PPRR) framework aligned with SA Health Policy.

You will be responsible for managing the corporate risk register and will provide strategic leadership within the LHN to enable effective risk management and strong corporate governance in accordance with established best practice and risk management standards

In this strategic role, you will also oversee the operational management of security services at the Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Riverland General Hospital, providing expert advice on protective security and risk management. Your leadership will ensure strong corporate governance and best practice risk management standards are consistently applied across the LHN.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Senior experience in consultative planning, practice improvement, and project management in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Skilled in preparing reports, policies, and plans on complex issues, and conducting program evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience leading complex systems implementations and driving business change across diverse stakeholders.
  • Expertise in preparing complex reports, briefings, and correspondence.
  • Experience in implementing significant change across an LHN.
  • Strong background in establishing and reviewing systems, protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Skilled in developing and analyzing program/service development.
  • Proven ability in high-level negotiations and building effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community groups.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
