About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an exceptional Nurse Consultant to join our dynamic team within the Division of Medicine.

As a Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert clinical leadership, guidance and support to the nursing team. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and fostering a culture of excellence within the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based nursing practices and protocols
• provide clinical supervision, mentorship and education to nursing staff, fostering professional development and skill enhancement
• actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, risk management and clinical governance activities
• contribute to the development and review of nursing policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure best practice standards are maintained
• identify opportunities for innovation and lead change initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
