Become an Occupational Therapist at Ashton House within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network's Forensic Mental Health Service. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable to the Senior Manager of Occupational Therapy NALHN for providing comprehensive assessment and treatment services to inpatients and outpatients, optimising their health outcomes.

As an Occupational Therapist at Ashton House, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to individuals with complex mental health needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing clients' functional abilities, developing tailored intervention plans and empowering them to achieve their maximum potential for independence and quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and advocating for client-centred care. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our services, ensuring we deliver the highest standard of care.
Appointment to the role will be at the AHP1 or AHP2 level, dependent on the level of experience.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will work closely with the Allied Health multidisciplinary team, liaising directly with medical and nursing staff within NALHN and external community agencies. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
