Total Indicative Remuneration (TIRP) includes award salary, managerial allowance, remote call allowance, professional development, A&R Allowance, Super, Private Practice Arrangements if applicable.

Overview

The primary objective of the role is to provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Rural Support Service and regional local health networks to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and sustainable Paediatric Outpatient services to residents of country South Australia.

The incumbent will work with the six regional LHN executive, regional clinical leads, contracted and employed medical staff and multi-disciplinary hospital and community staff, rural general practitioners to ensure that patient and organisational outcomes are achieved, through the ongoing development and implementation of rural Paediatric Outpatient services.

The role will have a focus on improving access to general Paediatric Outpatient services through such initiatives as implementation of new services including telehealth services and exploration to establish a remote specialist support model.
