Regional Reliever – Balaklava & Riverton Hospitals
The regional reliever role is a mobile position that works across the Balaklava and Riverton Hospitals. Employees within these roles will be rostered at either site from a forward planned roster to assist the sites to fill annual leave gaps.
Balaklava Soldiers Memorial Hospital
Balaklava is a charming country town located just an hour from Adelaide, known for its vibrant farming and agriculture industry. Our hospital and nursing home provide essential healthcare services to this welcoming community.
At Balaklava Soldiers Memorial District Hospital and Ira Parker Nursing Home, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care. Our facility features a 15-bed acute ward with a 24-hour emergency department and a 20-bed residential aged care facility. We offer a range of services, including acute care, step-down care, restorative programs, palliative care, emergency services, and aged care services.
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the comprehensive care of consumers across all services provided. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare.
District Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Wakefield Aged Care
Riverton Hospital has 7 acute beds and 20 RAC aged care beds. We are a small, yet dynamic hospital servicing the local town and surrounding communities. Linked onsite with the local GP clinic, you will be exposed to a variety of patient presentations from emergency retrieval, low priority attendances, palliation, long term aged care, and everything in between – there is something for everyone at Riverton Hospital!
Set in the beautiful country town of Riverton, South Australia, 89km from Adelaide CBD. As a nurse you will fulfill a role that is engaging, fulfilling and a valued part of the country community.
Riverton is a friendly, peaceful, and scenically beautiful town, nested in the rolling hills just north of Roseworthy and not far from the renowned Clare Valley. - Registered Nurse: Permanent P/T, 0.84 FTE (32 hours per week) commencing ASAP
- Enrolled Nurse: Permanent P/T, 0.63 FTE (24 hours per week) commencing ASAP
