About the role: 

Some of your duties as the advanced trainee may involve:

  • Providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to clinical pharmacology patients of SALHN, both in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multi-disciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care.
  • Active involvement in teaching medical students and junior medical staff.
  • Conducting research where required. 

About you:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
  • FRACP part 1 exam.
  • Ability to undertake training in and participate in quality use of medicines activities.
  • Ability to undertake training in and participate in activities determining policies relating to the use of medicines.
  • Ability to undertake training in and contribute effectively to medical education at medical undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Ability to undertake training in and contribute to clinical research.
  • Able to work both in a team environment and independently under supervision.
