About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Cedar Heath Service team as a Social Worker, where you will be responsible for:

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic responses to consumers affected by domestic and family violence (DFV).
  • Development and delivery of quality psychosocial health service to support improved health outcomes for consumers through the provision of evidenced based interventions in line with the Model of Care
  • Accountable for adhering to all facets of the Model of Care such as procedures and work instructions
  • Continuous service improvement through research, evaluation and the development of policies, procedures and practice standards for the organisation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Provision of a high standard of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to consumers with histories of complex trauma 
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to foster productive working relationships across disciplines, manage conflict and to contribute positively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to critically analyse and respond to the changing needs of consumers and the organisation.
  • Lead collaborative work activities, prioritise high volume workloads and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
