We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional for the role of Clozapine Clinical Coordinator (RN3/AHP3) on a part-time, temporary contract basis until 26 May 2028.

As the Clozapine Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective administration of Clozapine across all country regions of South Australia. You will provide professional leadership to medical, nursing, and allied health professionals involved in the Public Clozapine Program, ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing Clozapine administration for mental health consumers in regional Local Health Networks (LHNs).
- Supporting and supervising Associate Clozapine Coordinators based in mental health regional teams.
- Developing and reviewing systems that support Clozapine administration in country regions.
- Providing education and evidence-based clinical information to all stakeholders.
- Planning and leading change management processes to improve Clozapine administration in rural and remote areas.
- Maintaining a continuous focus on safety in Clozapine administration.

To excel in this role, you must be an experienced and highly competent clinician with expertise in mental health nursing or allied health practice. You should possess a significant degree of autonomy and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to provide clinical leadership and consultation.
