About the Role

As the Senior Food Service Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in the coordination of daily food service operations, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and service delivery. Reporting to the Employee Services Co-ordinator, you’ll be responsible for guiding and supporting Distribution staff, including Catering Assistants and Kitchen Hands, while maintaining smooth workflows across the team.

You’ll work closely with other supervisors, team leaders, managers, the food service dietitian and ancillary staff to ensure food services are delivered efficiently and safely. You will also follow direction from the Quality, Food Safety and Systems Co-ordinator to meet all relevant compliance requirements. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced supervisor to take on a rewarding leadership role in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

About You

You’re a motivated and organised individual with strong leadership qualities, ready to thrive in a fast-paced catering environment where quality and teamwork matter.

  • Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise teams and maintain high standards under pressure.

  • Demonstrated experience in catering services and staff supervision, with confidence in using computers and common software programs.

  • Solid knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices, WHS principles, and commitment to quality and customer service.

  • Able to work independently with initiative, relate respectfully to all staff, and communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
