Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service is seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Manager (Patient Related Services) to supervise and coordinate high-performing administrative teams supporting patient care across multiple departments.

You’ll oversee rostering, daily task allocation, training, and quality data management, while fostering a supportive culture focused on excellence in service delivery. This role is key in ensuring smooth operations across emergency admissions, reception, medical records, and ward admin—creating a seamless experience for patients, families, and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support administration teams across patient-facing areas
  • Coordinate staff training, development, and performance
  • Manage rosters, workflows, and resource allocation
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting, and monthly activity stats
  • Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership, communication and team-building skills
  • Proven admin management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical systems (e.g. Sunrise)
  • Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and adapt to change
  • Commitment to high customer service standards and confidentiality
