Overview

As an experienced clinician, you will apply your management and clinical knowledge and experience to provide the pivotal coordination of evidence-based, recovery-oriented services across the multidisciplinary Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network Mental Health Service (BHFLHN MHS). Delivering mental health care that is appropriate to the needs of consumers in the Adelaide Hills Community, you will undertake line management, coordination and leadership of the local Mental Health Team. This will involve working with Government and non-Government service providers to achieve continuity and quality of consumer Mental Health care. Accountable for the delivery of high quality consumer care, you will address inconsistencies between practice and policy, and develop team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of consumer outcomes.  BHFLHN Mental Health provides ample opportunity for professional development activities.

For appointment at the AHP3 level, you must hold a qualification within a recognised Allied Health profession of Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology, and be eligible for full membership of the relevant professional association. For appointment as a RN/RM3, you will be registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold a current practicing certificate along with a qualification in Mental Health practice. With prior experience working in a mental health setting, you will bring the ability to develop, implement and maintain integrated services and engage formal and informal partnerships across the community with key stakeholders.
