Overview

Are you a passionate and adaptable Dietitian looking for a rewarding rural and regional health role?
BHFLHN is seeking a motivated AHP2 Dietitian to join our Community and Allied Health team. This position offers a broad scope of clinical practice across the Gawler/Barossa region, allowing you to make a tangible difference in the lives of diverse community members.

About the Role

As an AHP2 Dietitian, you will:

  • Apply your growing generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge to plan, deliver, and evaluate nutrition and dietetics services.

  • Manage a varied caseload across settings including individual therapy, group-based care, and health promotion.

  • Work under reduced supervision while actively contributing to clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring of junior staff and students.

  • Collaborate within a dynamic multi-professional team using evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches to care.

  • Support continuous improvement through evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, and service development.

What You’ll Need

  • A recognised qualification in Dietetics and eligibility for full membership with Dietitians Australia.

  • Participation in the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program is highly desirable.

  • Clinical experience in providing Dietetic services within a community or rural health setting.

  • Strong reflective practice, time management, and interpersonal skills.
