About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our dedicated Haematology and Oncology research team. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate a range of clinical research activities in alignment with Good Clinical Research Practice (GCRP), NHMRC guidelines, and established standard operating procedures. Working closely with Investigators and the Clinical Research Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of clinical trials across all phases, with a particular focus on late-phase trials and patient registries.

As a key member of the research team, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and coordination tasks essential to trial success. Your contribution will support cutting-edge research that advances cancer care, improves patient outcomes, and drives innovation within the department. You are an organised, adaptable, and professional individual with strong communication skills and a keen interest in clinical research.   • Strong Clinical Research Background: Experience in clinical trials or a related health field, with sound knowledge of Good Clinical Research Practices, ICH guidelines, and medical terminology.

  • Excellent Communication & Judgement: High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex protocols and exercise sound judgement in ambiguous situations.

  • Tech-Savvy & Organised: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience managing diverse administrative tasks efficiently to meet timelines.

  • Team-Focused & Person-Centred: A respectful, sensitive approach to working with staff, patients, and families, and a commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare settings.
