About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS State-wide services/guardianship team as a Clinical Coordinator, where you will be responsible for:

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary team activities to ensure continuity, quality, and expert consultation in mental health care, particularly for Guardianship Services and complex CAMHS cases.
  • Oversee and maintain clinical documentation and information systems in line with organisational policies, using data to support decision-making and improve service outcomes.
  • Drive service improvement and alignment with corporate systems by adapting local processes based on service needs, evaluation results, and identified issues.
  • Foster internal and external partnerships to ensure integrated care and optimal client outcomes through collaborative, evidence-based mental health practice.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and reflective practice, providing staff with development opportunities and supporting performance management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or
  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia within an endorsed for clinical practice; or
  • Appropriate degree of equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in child abuse/child protection work and child and adolescent mental health work and, having a wide range of emotional and behavioural issues.
  • Excellent liaison and presentation skills which includes an ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff, administrative and clinical and with key personnel from other agencies.
  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to coordinate workflow and the work of others, ensure that work meets required standards, motivate other professional staff and foster team member participation in decision making.
