About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Podiatrist to join and help lead our dedicated team within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) podiatry services. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide expert clinical support to fellow podiatrists, contributing your advanced podiatric knowledge and leadership to enhance service delivery and develop new models of care in the acute, high-risk foot sector. You will play a key role in managing complex cases, with the ability to identify when interdisciplinary input is required and facilitate referral to our broader multidisciplinary teams. Your clinical expertise and guidance will directly impact the quality of care provided to our diverse patient base.

About You

You are a dedicated and experienced podiatrist with a strong foundation in clinical practice and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You bring leadership, initiative, and a collaborative spirit to every aspect of your work.

  • Qualified and Experienced – You hold a degree (or equivalent) eligible for registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia and have substantial experience in podiatry, focused on the management of high-risk foot. This includes complex clinical interventions and staff or student supervision. 

  • Highly Skilled Clinician – You demonstrate advanced clinical judgement, communication skills, and evidence-based practice, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Organised and Professional – You excel at setting priorities, managing caseloads, maintaining accurate records, and delivering timely outcomes across the continuum of care in both clinical and non-clinical environments.

  • Adaptable and Committed – You are physically capable, reliable, have a strong sense of team culture, participate in ongoing professional development, and uphold workplace safety and ethical standards.
