About the role

Are you an administrative professional with a passion for executive support and a flair for coordination? This is your opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Executive Director and Clinical Director of SA Medical Imaging (SAMI). As the Executive Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic, high-performing team, delivering timely and confidential administrative services across a diverse range of activities. From managing complex diaries and facilitating communication flows, to preparing high-level briefings and supporting sensitive issue resolution, your contribution will directly support the leadership team in delivering outstanding outcomes across SAMI.

In this fast-paced and rewarding position, you’ll also take the lead on a range of projects, particularly those tied to strategic SAMI priorities. Your role will involve data collection and analysis, minute preparation, and hands-on support with the delivery of key executive initiatives. You’ll also step in to assist with the supervision of administrative workflows when required, helping to coordinate workloads and guide support staff. If you’re someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing high-level tasks with operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you.

About You

You’re a proactive and professional Executive Assistant with a knack for managing competing demands and supporting senior leaders with confidence and discretion. With a sharp eye for detail and a collaborative mindset, you're ready to step into a role that requires both strategic thinking and practical execution.

  • Proven experience delivering high-level executive support, including diary management, minute-taking, and liaising with senior stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate sensitive matters diplomatically and confidentially.

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, able to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure in dynamic work environments.

  • Solid understanding of administrative processes in SA Health or the broader SA public sector, with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
