About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse on the Infectious Diseases ward (6GW3) at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will assist the Registered Nurse/Midwife in providing care to patients with infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to infection control practices. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and well-being.

At this level, you will practice from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse practice, working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will have the autonomy to take responsibility for your actions, while ensuring that care is delivered in line with regulatory and statutory requirements. Your dedication to quality care and patient outcomes will be key in contributing to the success of the team and the overall patient experience at RAH.

About You

You are a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

  • Registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication administration training and a current practising certificate.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proven experience delivering nursing care aligned with professional standards and clinical best practice.

  • Sound understanding of legislation, ethical codes, and the Enrolled Nurse’s role in modern healthcare settings.
