About the role

An opportunity exists for a Clinical Social Worker (AHP2) within the CaFHS Country South Team, based in Berri. The role delivers specialist social work services to families with complex needs, working within a multidisciplinary team across regional sites including Torrens House.

Key duties of the role

  • Deliver high-quality social work services to families with complex needs
  • Provide counselling, advocacy, and referrals to parents and caregivers
  • Undertake individual, family, and group interventions to build resilience
  • Support women and infants at Torrens House residential program
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and regional stakeholders

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Social Work eligible for full AASW membership
  • Experience delivering counselling and family-based interventions
  • Knowledge of attachment, infant mental health, and brain development
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience supporting families experiencing psychosocial adversity
