As a Disaster Resilience Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in bolstering the Southern Adelaide Local Health Networks ability to prepare for and bounce back from emergencies. Your exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure efficient coordination of documentation and communication channels, enabling a seamless disaster response. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to safeguarding our communities while being part of a dedicated team committed to creating a more resilient state.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Director of the SALHN Disaster Resilience Unit, some of your duties as the Administration Officer may involve: 

  • Ensuring an efficient, comprehensive, customer orientated administrative service is provided.
  • Providing administrative support to team members and to make and coordinate appointments.
  • The ongoing development, implementation and review of work practices and service delivery, ensuring quality service provision and staff and client satisfaction.
  • Leadership around implementation of workflow and system changes.
  • Scheduling of education and training programs.
  • Undertaking project tasks as delegated.

About you:

  • Extensive experience in the provision of administrative services to senior managers. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of committee papers, taking minutes at meetings, and following up action items. 
  • Excellent skills in time management. 
  • High level of personal organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. 
  • Interpersonal skills consistent with providing high level quality customer service and maintaining the trust and co-operation of others.
