Experience all facets of Physiotherapy, in a dynamic, energetic and growing team.

Join our team as a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist AHP2 and work in one of the largest Physiotherapy Departments outside of metropolitan Adelaide with over 20 staff (including Allied Health Assistants). In this role you will provide services as part of a multidisciplinary team to hospital inpatients (including orthopaedic, surgical, general medicine, high dependency, paediatrics and maternity, home and centre-based outpatients (adults and paediatrics), aged care, community palliative care, pulmonary, cardiac rehabilitation, ED and short stay.

There are rotational roles available to maximise experience and growth, with direct support from senior Physiotherapists with a wide range of skills and experience available. The Rural Generalist Physiotherapist will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment, therapy and evaluation approaches to provide clinical services.

ABOUT YOU

You will need to hold a recognised qualification in physiotherapy and be eligible for registration and practicing membership. With experience in providing physiotherapy services, you will be confident in supporting clients, carers and families across the Patient Journey and providing straightforward clinical services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities. This will include the delivery of effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up. You will bring the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, both verbally and in writing, and work well within a team environment.
