Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to those who need it most? Naracoorte Health Service is looking for dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our Residential Care Home team. If you have a heart for helping others and want to contribute to the well-being of our residents, we want to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Provide support in mobility and dexterity maintenance.
  • Perform bed making, laundry, and cleaning duties.
  • Transport residents and help with daily living activities.
  • Communicate resident needs to the Registered Nurse and adhere to all safety and health guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to follow instructions.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality customer service and supporting other staff.
