Rewarding Career Opportunity: Administration Assistant - Medical Education (SALHN)

About the role: 

The Admin Assistant is accountable to the Director of Clinical Training, and is required to work closely with the Medical Education Officers (MEOs) for day to day administrative support activities including assisting with surveys and evaluations.

The position is responsible for the provision of comprehensive administrative services to the medical education team, which entails using a teamwork approach, and managing day-to-day workloads within the group, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

As the Admin Assistant you will provide executive support to committees and meetings including recording and dissemination of minutes and outcomes of meetings. You will support the Medical Education team to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers and committees.

About you:

  • Experience in providing excellent customer service,
  • Ability to liaise effectively with all professions of staff within SALHN and other areas of SA Health,
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks and manage workloads to meet deadlines,
  • Experience in the application of computer software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and similar applications
