About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Dietitian to join our dynamic CO-ACT service at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert nutritional assessment, care, treatment and counselling to support patients in achieving optimal health outcomes. You’ll play a key part in enhancing the wellbeing of older adults and those transitioning through community care, ensuring your clinical expertise makes a meaningful difference in their lives.

As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work collaboratively to plan and implement personalised, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that reflect each patient’s unique goals and circumstances. Your day-to-day will involve active consultation with a wide range of professionals, patients, families, carers, and external agencies to ensure a truly holistic approach to care. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to service development through involvement in quality improvement and research initiatives, while working in a supportive and purpose-driven environment.

About You

You are a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian with a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of older adults. With extensive clinical experience and strong leadership capabilities, you bring advanced judgement, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to providing person-centred care in a multidisciplinary setting.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Eligibility for full membership with Dietitians Australia, supported by an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in delivering high-quality care to elderly clients with complex needs, particularly within rehabilitation and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills, with the ability to lead, collaborate, and advocate effectively with clients, families, and health professionals.
  • A proactive and quality-driven mindset, demonstrated through involvement in service improvement, research, or quality assurance activities.
