As our Senior Aboriginal Health Project Officer, you’ll be a key driver of strategic health initiatives under the Buthera Agreement and Narungga Health Assembly Strategy. You’ll engage with Traditional Owners, Aboriginal communities, service providers and government bodies to co-design practical, community-led solutions that strengthen health outcomes.

You’ll lead planning, research, reporting, and implementation of critical projects—ensuring every step forward is grounded in cultural respect and local voices. Your expertise will support innovative service reform, Aboriginal engagement, and data-informed decision-making that makes real change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Aboriginal Health projects aligned with strategic agreements

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, communities and service providers

  • Deliver high-quality reporting, analysis and recommendations

  • Manage budgets, data systems, and performance outcomes

  • Promote cultural safety and inclusive health system change

  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category C

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
