About the role

As a Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a range of clinical specialities. Working with minimal professional direction, you will perform more complex radiographic procedures using specialised equipment, ensuring accuracy and care in every examination. Your work will support critical clinical decisions and contribute to better health outcomes for clients across diverse healthcare settings.

In this dynamic role, you will also provide guidance and support to fellow radiographers, PDY radiographers, and students undertaking clinical placements or work experience. Your involvement in departmental quality assurance and approved research programs will help drive continuous improvement and innovation in imaging services. About You

You are a skilled and adaptable radiographer with a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to safe, high-quality imaging practices. You thrive in multidisciplinary environments, work effectively both independently and collaboratively, and bring a positive, flexible attitude to departmental change.

  • Proven ability to perform complex radiographic procedures and assess clinical and technical requirements based on patient condition.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of safe imaging practices, including ionising radiation delivery, radiation protection, and medico-legal responsibilities.

  • Experience with PACS and a sound understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity and Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare principles.
