About the Role 

As the Consultant, Cardiology at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, high-quality cardiology services to patients both within the unit and through referral pathways. About You

You are a dedicated and experienced cardiologist with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing the field through clinical innovation, research, and education. Your collaborative approach and ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments make you an ideal fit for our dynamic team.

  • Specialist qualifications and registration with AHPRA, with demonstrated clinical excellence in cardiology and advanced coronary intervention techniques.

  • Proven experience in research leadership, including supervision of research students and involvement in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Commitment to professional development and quality care, with a proactive attitude toward system improvement, patient outcomes, and the maintenance of clinical standards.
