The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Administration Officer to provide essential administrative and clerical support at Gawler Health Service. This is a key role ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in both acute and aged care settings.

About the Role

As the Administration Officer, you will:

  • Deliver professional and courteous reception services to clients, staff, and visitors.

  • Support patient admissions, discharges, medical record management, and electronic data entry.

  • Maintain accurate patient information and documentation systems.

  • Provide word processing and clerical assistance to various departments.

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, upholding confidentiality and quality service standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and administrative support.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in data entry and computer programs such as Microsoft Office.

  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a busy environment.

  • A positive attitude and a strong commitment to working in a team.

  • Desirable qualifications include Year 12 and/or a Certificate in business administration, medical terminology, or similar.
