Your new role:

As the Manager, Office of Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance (Office) you will provide expert input and oversight across functions Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance, ensuring timely, accurate and effective support to the Office of PSCF leadership group.

 You will undertake a variety of activities including but not limited to:

  • Management and coordination of the delivery of significant activities, programs and projects as determined by the Director, providing high-level project support, advice and executive administration for the branch and branch executives.
  • Coordinating, monitoring, and facilitating a range of administrative support services to the Office and overseeing the broader administrative support of divisional executives.
  • Overseeing the preparation of responses and briefs to the Chief Executive, Ministers, and other Departmental Executives across a range of complex and/or sensitive projects and processes. The position will also be required to manage clearances of Ministerial and cabinet briefings.
  • Lead oversight of all correspondence and approvals to and from the Executive Director.

  • Significant experience in the provision of a comprehensive and efficient range of administrative and high-level executive support services
  • Proven high-level experience in the development and implementation of documents and the development and management of processes and strategies for their review and assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking a range of project and planning work on an individual or team basis.
  • Knowledge of South Australian Government priorities and policy directions including a working knowledge of government legislation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, change management practices and administrative processes in a large complex organisation.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • Depending on work requirements the incumbent may be transferred to other locations across SA Health to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities either on a permanent or temporary basis subject to relevant provisions of the Public Sector Act 2009 for Public Sector employees or the SA Health (Health Care Act) Human Resources Manual for Health Care Act employees. 
  • The incumbent may be required to participate in Counter Disaster activities including attendance, as required, at training programs and exercises to develop the necessary skills required to participate in responses in the event of a disaster and/or major incident.
