Join Our Team as a Facility & Grounds Officer – Maintain a Safe and Welcoming Health Environment!

Are you a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and functional health facilities? We’re looking for a Facility & Grounds Officer to ensure the smooth upkeep of both the interior and exterior of our health unit.

About the Role:

Reporting daily to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, the Facility and Grounds Officer will be responsible for a range of general maintenance duties including rubbish collection, carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical work, and grounds upkeep. Your work will play a key role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade qualifications or trade equivalent skills in a relevant trade.
  • Proven experience in building and ground maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of a wide range of power tools.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position.
