Overview:

The Centre Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of the service model for the Veteran Wellbeing Centre (Centre) at the Repat Health Precinct (Repat); leading the coordination of the organisations that operate from the Centre; and the primary point of contact for visitors to the Centre. The Centre Manager is also responsible for the daily management of the facility and, on behalf of the Department for Health and Wellbeing, coordinates activities to be held within the Centre and broader site.

These objectives will be achieved by:

  • Providing leadership and management of the ongoing implementation of the Centre’s service model, including forming strong relationships with the Centre’s anchor tenants; and identifying opportunities for a broader range of service providers to operate and/or participate in the Centre’s activities with the objective of enhancing the range of existing veteran wellbeing services, to be delivered both within and external to the Centre.
  • Being a primary point of contact for all users and visitors to the Centre, providing information and connection to organisations, individuals, and services to meet the needs of veterans, their families and the broader veteran community.
  • Management and rostering of organisations that will be present within the Centre and the coordination of the daily operations at the Centre.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with veteran stakeholders, Local Health Networks (LHNs), other service providers and stakeholders to lead and implement service plans and strategies to support veteran wellbeing initiatives.
  • Promoting the Centre to veterans and the broader veteran community.
  • Leading and managing strategic analysis of service delivery to support evidence-based decision-making and develop strategies and comprehensive performance monitoring programs to ensure Centre integrity and to support system improvement.
